Dear Friend of Jungle Friends,
I know I say it all the time, but it doesn't hurt to say it again. I love our Jungle Friends supporters!
We have so many people who support the monkeys in so many ways -- helping us spread the word... hosting Monkey Parties... donating time and money.. well I just can't thank you enough.
2012 was a record year for Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary. Our donations increased by over $20,000 - WOW! You are the best!
P. S. Mark your calendars for the Free The Animals conference being held this year in Gainesville, FL on March 1 - 3. I will be speaking at the conference about the monkeys at Jungle Friends who have been released from research. For more information email me.

Thank you AAVS!

The American Anti-Vivisection Society (AAVS) has supported Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary for years, and last year their grant awards surpassed $100,000! While AAVS has a particular concern for animals released from research, their funds were not restricted -- meaning we could apply them wherever needed
. Devoted to ending animal cruelty through education, and helping scientists identify alternatives to animal experimentation, AAVS embraces the direct care provided by sanctuaries as a critical part of fulfilling its mission. We are grateful for their generous support.

Tessa is an eight-year-old diabetic capuchin who was near death when she arrived at Jungle Friends four years ago. Tessa's glucose was 1120! Her diabetes was controlled first with insulin and later she was weaned off and is now controlled by diet alone, a true success story! Here she met her soul mate Mario! They are a model couple, just watch the video and you will see what I mean.
