Reflecting on your practice

Case studies give meaning and context to the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. They profile a professional dilemma, incorporate participants with multiple perspectives and explore ethical complexities. RECEs can reflect, question assumptions and gain new insights into not only their own practice, but also their profession.

Four case studies describing real experiences in the professional practice of early childhood educators are available for download from the College's website.

Completing the case studies alone or with a group could be part of a member's Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) learning plan.
