Dancing Her Heart

Last month, we told a the very real story of the spiritual battle in Haiti.  The young lady's name is Omina and her newborn daughter, Estania.  Here is a brief update on their family and the prayers that you and many others have prayed on their behalf.

"Omina herself has been showing signs of improvement!  She is now walking on TWO legs and is much more alert than she has been in the past. Her parents brought her to the vacation bible school for the children today, and she danced her heart out with Ally. We are thankful for the ability to reach out to her, and pray that in time the love of our Father will shine in her life.

Baby Estania was whisked away from her mother before she was even a minute old. Her frail little self was brought to the clinic at the end of June by the father's cousin. She became the primary caregiver after the infant was born. When we saw them two weeks later, baby Estania was doing much better. She had gained a whole pound, and is strong enough to cry and even produce tears! Please pray that she continues to grow and develop. Though her cousin has three young children already, pray that she is willing to care for this infant and give her the love and care that she needs."
