Healing Tai Chi and Qigong

Tai Chi is a form of mind-body meditation through movement, originating in China. The practice of Tai Chi strengthens the coordination of mind and body through a focus on cultivating internal energy and developing balance. Tai Chi is a powerful key to inducing relaxation, reducing stress, increasing strength and fostering concentration. Classes are held Wednesday evenings. Advance registration required. Qigong is an hour of gentle movement, breath, and stillness that nurtures non-judgmental awareness and a kind relationship with body and self. Qigong classes are scheduled for Sunday afternoons beginning March 9. Advance registration required. This class focuses on qigong practices that still the mind, connect with the body, and soothe the heart. Practices induce a relaxation response that may positively impact the immune system, inner strength, and vital energies.

Therapeutic Yoga

Mindful Movement & Guided Meditation
