I am thrilled to announce that six of our post-secondary programs are approved for accreditation by the Middle States Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools.  Our administrative team, led by Sharon Nemeth and Peter Frascella worked tirelessly to earn this accomplishment.

The newly accredited post-secondary programs are Cosmetology - Esthetician, Electrical, Health Technology, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Licensed Practical Nursing and Medical Assistant.

The programs are accredited to establish eligibility for participation in Title IV student loan programs.  The District will now begin the process of applying for Title IV status so students can apply for federal financial aid.

The Health and Child Care and Culinary Arts classes teamed up to host a Green Eggs and Ham party, inspired by the Dr. Seuss story, for local preschool students.  The Culinary Arts class prepared a delicious breakfast for the children consisting of green scrambled eggs, ham, toast, fresh fruit and juice.  After breakfast, the Health and Child Care students escorted the preschoolers to their classroom for a reading of Green Eggs and Ham.  They also paired up to make a craft before the little ones headed back to their preschool.
