A Message from Coral's President
Greetings from Israel! I am thrilled to be in the Holy Land welcoming several congregations to the land of the bible. It's a blessing to see the depth of love believers have for this land, for Jesus and for each other. I'm inspired by them and by you to continue on this journey the Lord has brought me on. Last month, I mentioned we launched our new website. We've had wonderful comments from everyone. If you haven't had a chance yet to visit the site take a moment and check out our blog. First Temple Era Seals Discovered
According to a recent IAA (Israel Antiquities Authority) press release, " Two seals bearing Hebrew names were uncovered in a large building dating to the First Temple Period in excavations the Israel Antiquities Authority is carrying out in the Giv'ati parking lot at the City of David, in the Jerusalem Walls National Park." It's taken nine years for archaeologists to reach the ancient strata of Jerusalem dating to the First Temple Period. Read the IAA press release.

Jewish Purim Holiday 2016
The Jewish holiday know as Purim or Feast of Lots is celebrated annually on the 14th day of the Hebrew month of Adar. This year it begins the evening of March 23rd of the Gregorian calendar. The holiday commemorates the deliverance of the Hebrew people from destruction. The Purim story is told in the book of Esther. Haman, a vizier in the Persian empire under King Xerxes, created a plan to kill all the Jews in the empire but Queen Esther and her cousin Mordecai save the day. Read more
