We are fast approaching the Jewish Festival of Booths, also known as the Feast of Tabernacles and in Hebrew "Sukkot." Coming up October 8-15, Sukkot is the most joyous of the three feasts mandated in the Bible (Leviticus 23:42-43). During this festival we celebrate God's kindness toward the Israelites as they traversed the Sinai Desert and reaffirm our trust in God's providence. The booths or sukkahs we build commemorate the shelters our Jewish ancestors constructed while living in the desert. During this joyous season we hope you'll join us as we continue to pray for God's peace and protection over Israel. As always, your love and support is greatly appreciated.
