Oswego Fire Protection District
Oswego Fire Training

(on class ISO Class 2 rating)
Oswego Fire Department had a ribbon cutting ceremony in April to dedicate their new training facility in memory of Chief Raymond Hoff. Chief Hoff was a giant in the American fire service and instructed nationally after retiring as a Battalion Chief with the Chicago Fire Department. The center is dedicated to this nationally recognized fire service expert in large part because the intent behind the facility is to reach out in such a way as to impact firefighters from the entire region.
There is so much more behind this center and all the wonderful events that have occurred within the Oswego Fire Department.
Please help me congratulate Michael Veseling who was  appointed Fire Chief, after Chief  Rick Neitzer retired after almost three decades with the District. Chief Veseling is honored to be appointed to this position and is excited to lead such a tremendous group of firefighters. We are proud to have you!

Franchise owner, George Lennon, speaks from the heart. "The first year in Montgomery was indeed a great year. We had a great crowd at our anniversary party and we know each year it will grow. Residents were allowed to bring their pets and we had a series of activities going on all evening. The weather could not have been better. "
