2015 continues to be an exciting year. We have a series of projects in the works and we cannot wait till the weather breaks and construction continues. We are excited to move forward and we are expecting a prosperous new year. The MEDC recognizes that our success in bringing attention to this community is due in large part to our community leaders, members, partners and sponsors. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to renewed relationships with you. We have began planning for the year and will continue marketing our community and servicing the business community. Please get involved and help make Montgomery all that it can be.
Thanks to all of our wonderful members for being a part of our organization. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your renewal in our organization as we move past 12 years of continued service to the Village of Montgomery.
If you have a story to tell or perhaps there is something you would like to share with the business community, feel free to provide us with this information and we will place it in our next news blast. Members are given first priority.
We welcome any suggestions you may have to help make the MEDC news blast helpful to you.

Butterball gives back to the community |
Chili contest kicks off Butterball's Fundraising efforts:

MEDC Executive Director, Charlene Coulombe-Fiore, Police Chief Daniel Meyers, Abel Baca-stuffing supervisor, Sonia Kowolski, HR assistant, Miquel Ayala-Superintendent, Guillermo Garcia, supervisor, take part in the Chili judging contest.
A Note from Mary Currie, Human Resources Manager from Butterball on Giving Back:
Butterball will be engaging our employees by showing that we care with quarterly activities; We will also be striving to provide to local charities in the Montgomery community. Not only do we want to be instrumental in helping food banks and shelters with our world famous mouthwatering Turkeys, sliced hams and delicious bacon during the holiday season. We also want to support children that are less fortunate during the holiday season. Every quarter, Butterball team members will be sponsoring company contests within our plant; this money will be collected all year and we will donate to a local charity of our choice at the end of the year.
