Thanksgiving Sunday
This Sunday, November 18th, we will be giving our thanks to God for the many blessings we receive as God's children. During worship we will recount some of our blessings as a congregation. Remembering all that God has done with, for, and through us, we will respond by bringing and dedicating our pledges for the church's work for the coming year. This is one very good way to return thanks to our generous and giving Lord! Remember to bring your pledge card. Following worship we will congregate in Roberts Hall for our annual Thanksgiving Dinner. What a glorious day it will be. Plan to be part of the entire morning. Sunday school begins at 9:15 and worship begins at 10:30. Thanksgiving Dinner will be served immediately following the service. Come and give thanks to God with your church family. |

Pies may be brought to Westminster Church office on Wednesday afternoon, or taken to North Baptist Church by 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.

CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS
Christmas poinsettias may be purchased in honor of or in memory of a loved one and will be placed in the sanctuary during advent. The cost of each plant is $11.00. An order form for you to fill out will be in the bulletin the next three Sundays or you can come by the church office during the week. Deadline for ordering poinsettias is Sunday, December 2nd. |

STARS OF LIGHT SELECTION SUNDAY
Our annual advent special activity, Stars of Light, will take place this coming Sunday, November 18th. Stars will be hanging on the foyer windows, each with a gift idea for a child who without our help would not receive gifts this holiday season.
Gift ideas under $20 each were submitted by either the child themselves, if they are in foster care, or by the parents in a family struggling financially.
After choosing a Star, record the information with Christian Education Committee members, Karen Reynolds or Nancy Hatfield. Then return the gift, boxed but unwrapped, on Sunday, December 2nd. A gift-wrapping party will be held in Roberts Hall following worship.
