"Keeping the Love Tank Full"

 love tank
Marriage Enrichment Workshop
Wednesdays - May 30 - June 20
6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Fireside Room

Description of Workshop:

Pre-wed? Newlywed? 10, 25, 50+ years of marriage (or in between)? How full is your "love tank"? Just as it's important to keep our gas tanks full in our vehicles, it's even more important to keep our "love tanks" full in our relationships! Would you like to know and be known (and even understand and be understood) by your mate on a whole new level? This four week, two-hour marriage enrichment workshop incorporates valuable tools from renown experts Gary Smalley and John Trent, Gary Chapman, Les and Leslie Parrott, and the Bible by exploring, discussing, encouraging, and even adding a little humor to the relationship we know as marriage..... And in the process, assist you in filling your "love tank".

Please join George and Joyce Records in the Fireside Room for this FREE informative workshop from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Wednesday,May 30th-Wednesday, June 20th. Babysitting will be available, if needed. Sign-up located in the church Narthex/Foyer. For questions, call Records at 242-3518. Hope to see you then!

Combination Adult Sunday School Class

As many of our adult Sunday School teachers will be gone this coming Sunday, May 20th, three of the classes will meet together for the final week of Sunday School. You'll meet in the Disciples' Room where Pastor Tim will lead you in a study of Pentecost.

The 3 classes not meeting in their regular classrooms on Sunday are the Parlor class with teacher John Coen, the basement class with teacher Bill Allegre and the Disciples' Room class with teachers Henry Roberts and Shirlene Taylor.

Bill Ballinger's class will meet as it usually does in the Fireside Room.

Please plan to join Pastor Tim on Sunday morning and enjoy one last Sunday School class and fellowship with your contemporaries before summer break.

Work and Fellowship Bring Beautiful Results!

Twenty-two people showed up last Saturday to plant flowers, mulch around the trees and shrubs, and rake the mulch and replace the matting in the playground.  Working together everyone had a great time of fellowship, too.  The church grounds look really nice!  Thank you to everyone who helped!

We are looking for people to water the beautiful flowers that were planted last Saturday.  If you would like to help with that responsibility for a week this summer, please let Connie Gaeddert (242-2306) know.  Connie will make a schedule and distribute it to everyone who is helping.
