                PALM SUNDAY WORSHIPEaster basket

LUNCHEON

and

EASTER EGG HUNT

APRIL 1ST

On Sunday, April 1st, Westminster Church is inviting the neighborhood and friends of the congregation to Sunday School, worship, and lunch followed by an Easter Egg Hunt and fun activities for children.

Activities will begin with Sunday School at 9:15 followed by a special Palm Sunday worship service at 10:30 with everyone receiving a palm frond. After worship will be our luncheon in Roberts Hall. The main course will be provided and everyone is asked to bring a salad, vegetable, or dessert.

The Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled following lunch (approximately 12:30). Children up to 5th grade will be divided into three age groups and will hunt for eggs filled with candy and a scripture verse. There will be many other fun activities for the kids.

This is a great opportunity for you to invite someone you know who does not have a church home. Invite your friends, neighbors, co-workers, relatives and spread the word about this fun-filled time of egg-stra special activities with our Westminster family. Everyone is invited to any or all of the planned activities.

If you would like to make a contribution to help with the expenses of the egg hunt or activities, please contact Ray Daisy or Deanna Fox.

Easter Lily
                                             EASTER LILIES

Our Easter celebration this year will again include a beautiful array of Easter Lily plants in honor of or in memory of a loved one.  The cost of each lily plant is $15.00.  On Easter Sunday the bulletin will list the names of the donors along with the names of the people they are honoring and/or remembering.

The church will order your lily and arrange for delivery.  The plants can be picked up after the Easter worship service on April 8th.  Forms are available in the church office or in the bulletin on Sunday.  Please complete the form and send it to the church office or place it in the collection plate on Sunday morning with your payment, no later than Monday, March 19th.

                                             LOGOS STUDENTS SERVICE PROJECT

Many thanks to all the LOGOS students who picked up 16 boxes of sticks from the church grounds this past Wednesday afternoon.  It was a beautiful afternoon to be outside and there were lots and lots of sticks.  The students worked hard and got a lot done in half a hour and the church yard looks much better.  If you see one of the LOGOS students, tell them you appreciate what they did!
