Thank You...
...to all of the URISA volunteers who contribute year in and year out to making our programs second-to-none! When you're at GIS-Pro, check out some of the committee and division meetings (including the PPD noted earlier) and stop in to see what they're all about. You are very welcome to participate and get involved!

The new URISA Board term begins on September 19, and we will welcome Carl Anderson, Amy Esnard, Jochen Albrecht and Ashley Hitt to the Board. Allen Ibaugh will begin his term as URISA President (Al Butler will pass the gavel) and we say goodbye to Greg Babinski, Tom Conry, Nancy Obermeyer and Chris Thomas who will complete their terms on the Board at the same time. You've been great!

Speaking of long-time URISA members and volunteers... congratulations to Tom Tribble who is retiring from the NC Center for Geographic Information & Analysis after 29 years! Tom is a former URISA Board Member and volunteer, and one of the leaders in the NC GIS Community. Enjoy!!!
