TOPIC:
You make that initial traffic stop. Do you know who you just stopped? The driver license runs through dispatch. Are you sure that is their true identity? Without knowledge of document security, you may be letting the next wanted person or terrorist disappear.
The key is understanding how documents are designed and printed. This class allows the Officer to authenticate documents without knowing the security of every document. This training allows forensic identification in the "field" without special tools. "IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT LOOKING FOR, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING AT..."

Participants will gain knowledge of how to look into the document, not at the document. Understand the secrets of the thousands of different identification and printed documents that an Officer, Detective or DMV examiner will come across day to day.

Millions of high quality counterfeit documents are purchased and used in the United States by underage drinkers, scammers, wanted persons, undocumented immigrants and identity thieves; to commit bank fraud, mortgage fraud, tax fraud, credit card fraud and other economic crimes. They also can be used for terrorist purposes.

During this 8-Hour class, participants will gain an understanding of printed security on plastics and paper. This is a hands on class, dealing with authentic and counterfeit driver license, passports, vehicle titles, immigration papers, currency and more.
