Back to School Burgers

Ladies' Bible Study Begins 09/09 at 0900

We will be starting our ladies' bible study back up in September! We meet Tuesday mornings and will be studying Nancy Guthrie's
The Word of the Lord: Seeing Jesus in the Prophets, from her Seeing Jesus in the Old Testament series. Plan to begin this Tuesday, Spetember 9, 9 am to 10:30 am.   Let Beverley Bouchard or Allison Webb know if you are interested.  Child care will be available.
Youth Group Paintball - September 13

Saturday, September 13, the Student Ministry Group will head to Locust Grove for a day of paintball!  If you want to join them, contact Samantha, Wes, or Sebastian.

Resolving Everday Conflict is an 8-week study on resolving conflict in the power of the Gospel.  Requires some preparation between meetings and a workbook for $10.  Contact Pastor Bill by email for more information.

Blood Drive - September 27th

Hope Presbyterian Church is hosting a Red Cross blood drive on Saturday, September 27th from 10:00 until 2:00pm.  You can sign up in advance at the Red Cross website, or contact Vicki Kidd at Hope and she will register you.

This practice was given by Jesus to all His followers in every culture and time period to "reconnect" them in an ongoing way to His death on the cross and resurrection. All who aspire to place the trust of their life in Jesus Christ are welcome to receive and participate in Sunday morning's communion, regardless of your church membership or denominational affiliation.

Christ Covenant has families who send their kids to public schools, private schools and who do home-schooling.  Mary Lynn and I used those three options as well as a charter school to get our three kids ready for college.  How you educate your children is a family decision based on the needs, resources and convictions of the family.
