Learn the New City Catechism: One Question Per Week
Each week we'll be posting a question and answer from the New City Catechism, along with a brief video explanation.
Question 29: How can we be saved? Answer:
Only by faith in Jesus Christ and in his substitutionary atoning death on the cross; so even though we are guilty of having disobeyed God and are still inclined to all evil, nevertheless, God, without any merit of our own but only by pure grace, imputes to us the perfect righteousness of Christ when we repent and believe in him.

Financial Snapshot
Month of June 2014 (Numbers Rounded)
- Income: - $11, 050
- Expenses - $12, 775
January thru June 2014 (Numbers Rounded)
- Income: $66,050
- Expenses: $74, 430
For 2014 we have cut back on budget and expenses from 2013 but continue to experience a regular shortfall of income to expenses. We are able to cover this with previously accumulated reserves for the foreseeable future, but will also look at ways to bring expenses and income into line.
-- We have continued to take 10% of money received and distribute it to missions and ministry beyond Christ Covenant.
-- We have reduced from 2013, but continue to save money from each month's offerings into our Next Step Fund for future facilities.
-- If you have further questions or interest, feel free to contact Pastor Bill, treasurer Beverley Bouchard or any member of the Steering Committee.

Can We Still Believe The Bible?
This is an important question that every person will act on, one way or the other, whether you think it through or not. It's also the title of a solid new book that Pastor Bill will mention this Sunday. If you'd like to go one step deeper than the sermon, then Click Here for a helpful review of the book as a resource for your own life's answer to this question.
