Outreach Opportunity
Christ Covenant and Hope EPC will join together to provide a Hospitality tent at Fredericksburg's 4th of July celebration. There will be shade, a diaper-changing table, water, helium balloons, seats, photo displays of ministry at each church and brochures and flyers. It is a great chance to step out of our doors and into the life of our community to provide a cool, friendly place and opportunity to share about life at each church. If you'd like to be a part for 1-3 hours, even if you haven't signed up just head downtown to our tent on Sophia Street and join the fun!

Learn the New City Catechism: One Question Per Week
Each week we'll be posting a question and answer from the New City Catechism, along with a brief video explanation.
Question 27: Are all people, just as they were lost through Adam, saved through Christ? Answer:
No, only those who are elected by God and united to Christ by faith. Nevertheless God in his mercy demonstrates common grace even to those who are not elect, by restraining the effects of sin and enabling works of culture for human well-being. | | NCC Q27: Are all people, just as they were lost through Adam, saved through Christ? |

Communion Sunday
Just before his death and resurrection, Jesus took the last Passover meal and transformed it into the first Lord's Supper. That evening, something that had pointed forward to Him was transformed into something that now points us back to Him. Since then, all His followers in every culture and time period are brought together at Communion in order to "reconnect" them in an ongoing way to His death on the cross and resurrection. All who aspire to place the trust of their life in Jesus Christ are welcome to receive and participate, regardless of denominational affiliation.

Hospitality Volunteers NeededWe could use another helper or two to be available to make the coffee on Sunday morning and make sure the hospitality table is set up. We could also use a few more willing to be on rotation for bringing snacks to help fill the hospitality table. If you are interested in either, please speak with Allison Webb.
