Missional Community: How Christ Covenant Does Small Groups
First meeting: June 8th, 5pm, at the O'Campo home. We will provide burgers! Click here to sign up for sides, etc.
We'd like to refocus, refresh and restart several Missional Communities in September, so for the summer, we are planning to have one "All-Church Missional Community" meeting each month.

For the summer months, we'll be having monthly get togethers open to everyone! We'll have a meal together, followed by a study and discussion around 'Resolving Everyday Conflict' from the Peacemaker series.  Child care will be provided for the study.
Singles' College and Career Mardi Gras Meal

Monday, June 2, 6:30 pm, at the Lindner Home
College and Career age singles are invited to the Lindner home for a New Orleans special: Cajun Jambalaya prepared by Christ Covenant's favorite Cajun: Mary Lynn Lindner. Bring a friend along - the more the merrier! An RSVP would be helpful for planning, but not even required if your plans change at the last minute. Great way to start the week and month!

Learn the New City Catechism: One Question Per Week

Each week we'll be posting a question and answer from the New City Catechism, along with a brief video explanation.

Question 22:
Why must the Redeemer be truly human?
Answer:
That in human nature he might on our behalf perfectly obey the whole law and suffer the punishment for human sin; and also that he might sympathize with our weaknesses.

Communion Sunday

This practice was given by Jesus to all His followers in every culture and time period to "reconnect" them in an ongoing way to His death on the cross and resurrection. All who aspire to place the trust of their life in Jesus Christ are welcome to receive and participate in Sunday morning's communion, regardless of your church membership or denominational affiliation.

Prayer Needs?
We want to hear about them! We have prayer cards in the Welcome Binders that are passed around every week.  Fill one out then slip it back in to the binder, or if you prefer you can hand it directly to Pastor Bill.
Our Intercession Group meets Wednesday evenings to cover these needs in prayer.  Contact Pastor Bill if you'd like to learn more about the group.
Also, all are welcome to come to the back of the worship area for prayer on Communion Sundays.
Steering Committee
We've recently added brief bios of our steering committee members to our website.  Check it out here!

Hope EPC

Hope EPC - formerly known as Sptsylvania Presbyterian Church - is aiming to complete their nearly three-year process of leaving their previous denominational affiliation to join us in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church with an official Service of Reception on Sunday morning June 8. Christ Covenant welcomes them with celebration and looks forward to ministry together in Spotsylvania County!
