NOLA 2014 Dates - April 20 thru 26
Ladies' Night Wednesday, April 9th!
Ladies, we've got some pizza to eat and some Easter eggs to fill! We're going to make an evening of it.  The NOLA 2014 Mama's Pizza Fundraiser is happening from 5-9pm.  The Christ Covenant ladies are gathering at the home of Lisa Boyer from 7-9pm to fill Easter eggs for the YoungLives Easter event.  So, head over to Mama's for a delicious meal then continue on to the Boyer residence for some girl time.
If you are able, bring a small dessert to share to Lisa's.  And, if you'd rather go straight to stuffing eggs, Lisa might order a few pizzas for take out. Contact her here if you want in on that.  Thanks and see you there!!
Maundy Thursday - April 17th at 6pm
Join us at the church building for a Maundy Thursday dinner and service, April 17 at 6pm.  We will have a simple meal together, followed by a meaningful Passover service as we observe this symbolic tradition marking the eve of our Savior's death on the cross.
Families are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Bring a cup (traditionally a wine glass, but maybe something safer for the little ones) for each family member.  Sign up here if you can bring a salad, dessert, or iced tea.
Learn the Catechism:
One Question per Week

Each week we'll be posting a question and answer from the New City Catechism, along with a brief video explanation.

Question 14: Did God create us unable to keep His law?
Answer:

No, but because of the disobedience of our first parents, Adam and Eve, all of creation is fallen; we are all born in sin and guilt, corrupt in our nature and unable to keep God's law.
