More a "Forum" than a class or group.  A time and place to listen, discuss and consider.   

This week: "Reading the Bible Like Jesus."  Both Jesus and the Pharisees revered the Hebrew Bible.  But somehow, their lives and the way they thought of God and other people were completely different.  Join us as we look into how to read the Bible like Jesus and learn how this Book can be bread, light and life for you as well.

Calling All Students!

We are arranging a special breakout group for our students - high, middle, home, private, public - as part of the Gospel Perspectives Forum, Sunday mornings at 9:30. Everyone starts together with Pastor Bill for some teaching, videos, discussion and then breakout into groups for fellowship and further discussion.

Learn the Catechism:
One Question per Week

Each week we'll be posting a question and answer from the New City Catechism, along with a brief video explanation. 

Question 4: How and why did God create us?

Answer: God created us male and female in his own image to know him, love him, live with him and glorify him. And it is right that we who are created by God should live to his glory.

Mary Lynn and I would like to say "THANKS!" to all of Christ Covenant for the Christmas gifts received this year.  A cash gift from the congregation was received and is appreciated.  Green is a great color and it fit perfectly!  We're thankful for the calling to serve with the body of Christ Covenant here in Fredericksburg, and appreciate this kind expression.

Perspectives Course Meets Wednesdays

Pastor Bill will be at the Presbytery of Mid-Atlantic meeting in Monroe, NC from Thursday to Saturday this week where he serves with the Church Development Team. This meeting of pastors and elders from EPC churches in North and South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia meets for worship, prayer, fellowship, training and business three times each year. Pray for safe travel and fruitful time there. Pastor Bill will be back to teach the Gospel Perspectives Forum at 9:30 Sunday morning. Cliff Wright will be preaching for the worship service.
