It can be taken for seminary, college or dual-enrollment credit for students of several ages. Find out more here .

Christ Covenant will host this class, beginning January 8th.

FYI - Pastor Bill and Mary Lynn will be out of town this Monday - Thursday. Bill may have a delay in response, but plans to still be available through email during that time.
Wyldlife
Wyldlyfe is a ministry of Young Life for middle school students.  Starting September 19, they will be having club meetings on Thursdays at 7pm at Christ Covenant.  If you want to learn more, or have an interested middle schooler, contact Lauren.
Buyer Beware -
Marketing Fraud!
We love The Jesus Storybook Bible at Christ Covenant, but the book pictured above is not it! Be wary of this look alike on shelves now - a 'child's edition' of the un-biblical Gospel of Thomas. Read more here ... from Pastor Bill's blog.

International Missions Focus
with Shawn Stewart, Sept. 14 & 15.
Shawn Stewart serves with EPC World Outreach as Recruitment Coordinator.  Years in Student Ministry and in Missions have given him experience and insight in short-term missions and helping local churches connect ordinary people to the Great Commission in life-changing ways.  Shawn will be in Fredericksburg September 14 & 15 to work with Christ Covenant in developing a year-round and international focus for missions involvement.  He will be listening to our experiences and dreams, sharing with us about EPC opportunities, helping us to network with other churches, agencies and people and develop plans to expand and strengthen missions involvement.

He will be part of the worship service on Sunday, Sept 15 and presenting at a pot-luck dinner gathering at the Lindner home on Saturday evening, Sept 14.  RSVP by email to Pastor Bill if you would like to join the dinner.

Cloud of Witnesses
Saturday, September 14th, 9am
Intended to equip lay people with a broad knowledge of the Christian Faith, we will use the Leadership Training Guide developed by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church for training of Elders.  Even if you never expect to serve as an Elder, you will benefit from this deep and systematic grounding in the faith.  It's a chance to study, learn and interact with others, to join with the Cloud of Witnesses who have run the race of faith before us.

People Did Whatever They
Felt Like Doing:
Resources for Series on Judges
This fall Pastor Bill will be preaching through the Book of Judges.  This is a season in the history of God's people when "people did whatever they felt like doing" (Judges 17:6, 21:25).  It should have a lot to say to another season like that.  Click Here for several of the resources that Pastor Bill will be using.
