ORDER FORMS ARE DUE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25 BY THE END OF THANKSGIVING PROGRAM. Please send them in to your homeroom teacher or drop them off when you come for the Thanksgiving program, or they can be purchased online here.
Plants may be picked up Thursday and Friday December 4 and 5. Deliveries can be made for large orders and Easton pick up will also be available. Please email Emily Larkin with questions.

AROUND THE CREEK
Little Creek has recently started Discovery Classes with Ms. Armstrong. During Discovery, the classroom is transformed into a different world and the students learn through imaginative play and hands-on activities. Learning through play helps children develop social and cognitive skills, emotional maturity, and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments. In the month of November, students are learning about Native Americans, including the different tribes around North America, the creative ways they lived off the land, and also learning the story of the very first Thanksgiving.
Teamwork in the Tipi! Ella, Isabel, and Liam are playing "house" while pretending to be Sioux Indians. In the tipi, Liam is cooking dinner for everyone over the fire.
Tyler went fishing and then cooks his fish over the fire.
Asher is working on the beginning stages of his model to show how atoms are connected in a solid, liquid, or gas.
On November 2, Radcliffe Creek School parents and students decorated and walked or rode in the Chestertown Halloween Parade. Even though we did not place this year, everyone had a great time. A BIG thank you goes out to Lauren and Matt Littlefield, Donald, Darby, and Douglas Hewes, William Brockschmidt and Gabe Lake, Jim and Sarah Herron, Mike, Aiden, and Tyler Dunlap, Alexandra Caswell and Aidan McGurl, Jenn Hicks and Tyler Briggs, and Eli and Mariner Schut. Students from Mrs. Johnson's Discovery class enjoyed a beautiful fall day at Echo Hill Outdoor School, learning more about the Woodland Native Americans that lived in our area. Students made themselves at home in a traditionally built wigwam as they listened to stories and sang songs while wrapped in soft animal furs! Dream-catchers were made from natural materials and students played games and learned more about Native Americans while sitting around the campfire eating fresh-popped popcorn! Lily, Colin and Caden relax after a round of sight word reading the game, Tumbler.
