Erev Shavuot festivities -- Tuesday, May 14!

 

Join us at BSO for evening services beginning at 7:30 PM, followed by a brief skit (directly from Mt. Sinai!) courtesy of Todd Gardner and our BSO Players, our annual Shavuot ice cream sundae bar spectacular, and a study session taught by Hazzan Geller on the Book of Ruth.  Don't miss out on the opportunity to usher in Shavuot with prayer, laughter, sweetness, and Torah all rolled into one!

Arty (Mike Damus) and Jay (Brad Stoll) are young teenagers when their their widower father heads South to seek work, leaving the boys with their stern, intimidating grandmother (Irene Worth). trailer

Volunteers are needed for the fourth Wednesday of each month to provide side dishes, dessert and beverages for 30 women at the shelter. This is a great mitzvah to undertake with your havurah or another group of friends.
