Saturday Volunteer Parties Alive on SJ Campus
Excellent progress was made at last Saturday's volunteer party. Thank you to all of the community members who turned out to paint, stain and clean! It is amazing what so many hands working together can accomplish. We will be having another volunteer party this Saturday 2/2. The party will begin at 9am at Allen Hall and continue into the afternoon. As always, all are welcome to join anytime, and a hot lunch will be provided.
Want to stay in the loop? Email office@fineartscamp.org and ask to be added to the volunteer email list.

Looking Back at Tutunov Performances
We were incredibly fortunate to have master pianist Alexander Tutunov in town last week. Mr. Tutunov kept a busy schedule: performing in two assemblies for the students of Keet Gooshi Heen and Baranof Elementary Schools, teaching ten private lessons, hosting an audience-attended master class, and culminating with Saturday night's performance. Beyond giving us such a rare display of musical talent, Mr. Tutunov shared with our community the rich history behind the pieces he performed and inspired us with his own passion for this very human art. No matter your age or familiarity with pianism, we hope that you were as delighted with him as we were. Also, a big thank you to Stan and Nancy Barge for their part in both bringing and welcoming Mr. Tutunov to Sitka!
