Sitka Fine Arts Camp Newsletter 

We Can Do It, If We All Work Together! 
 
 
Greetings!
On Saturday, three of our campers and two counselors joined world-class musicians in the Sitka Summer Music Festival's Finale Concert.

Campers Victoria Morozova (viola,) Harrison Greenough (bass,) Emma Burck (cello,) and counselors Bryce O'Tierney (violin,) and Eric Fishman (cello) joined Zuill Bailey, Bu Sherf, and Kevin Hekmatpanah and members of the Attacca Quartet.  The group played pieces by Gluck, Massenet and Couperin in the evening program.

The new partnership between the SItka Fine Arts Camp and the Sitka Summer Music Festival has opened up new, really special opportunities for our campers! Thank you to Zuill Bailey and the SSMF for inviting us to be part of this show.
Final Performance Line-up
We have an amazing group of High School Campers this year, and they are already gearing up for final performances.  After getting a sneak peak at some of the action, I can tell you that you're not going to want to miss the upcoming shows!

The excitement starts tonight with a first-ever Open Mic night at Allen Hall, featuring the talents of our Improv and Writing students. (Show starts at 7:00pm.)

Wednesday night will be our final ArtShare of the season, featuring a faculty collaboration.
