We Can Do It, If We all Work Together!

Greetings!
There has been a lot happening in Allen Hall!  Last week, Justin and Chaz finished installing a newly restored, taller banister around each staircase.  If these two look familiar,it's because you've seen them before.  This is the second time that Kris Calvin, of Fisherman's Quay, has donated two of his employees, working full-time for two weeks.  Their first project focused on restoration work on the entryway of North Pacific Hall.  This time they focused on Allen.
Thank you to Kris for the donation and both guys for their work!

Thursday night, a group of consultants arrived.  Today, architects Linda, John and Nycole and lighting designer Naomi toured Allen together as a team. The group was brainstorming ideas with donors David and Marge Steward about the design of a hospitality room that will be dedicated to Del Shirley, who had been a teacher at Sheldon Jackson College. They touched on everything from flooring to lighting.

Linda is the original architect that helped design the expansion of Allen Hall.  Along with John, both an architect and Del's son, Linda's intern Nycole, and lighting designer Naomi (who recently did work for the Getty Museum), this is a great group: spirited and with plenty of expertise. We're happy to have them!
