After School Art
Don't miss our fourth session of After School Art classes! The session begins the week of April 11th and features classes for students of all ages. Check out the list of classes below and call the Fine Arts Camp to register! 
 
Classes for elementary, middle, and high schoolers:
  • Papier-Mâché Animal Masks (grades k-2)
  • Open Art Studio for Grades 3-6
  • Music Recording Session (elementary, middle, and high schoolers) 
  • Pinhole Photography (grades 4-7)
  • Open Art Studio for Grades 7-12
  • Basics of Digital Photography (adults and high school students)
  • Advanced to Intermediate Digital Photography Workshop (adults and high school students)
  • Celtic Dance (classes available for preschool and up)
 This session's classes for adults:
  • Basics of Digital Photography (adults and high school students)
  • Advanced to Intermediate Digital Photography Workshop (adults and high school students)
  •  Symbolic Animal Painting (adults and high school students)
  • Illustrate Your Own Picture Book - Part 1 (adults)
  • Senior Ballet (for Sitkans over 50)

Don't miss this amazing opportunity for students in grades 5-8! 

When: Saturday, March 8th, 11am-3pm
Where: Blatchley Middle School Art Room 
 
Bring your imagination to life! Tell a story through animation. In this one day workshop, students will explore animation techniques and learn about design and filming.
 
Students must bring a bag lunch and a USB flash/drive jump.
All other materials are provided. $25 + tax. Call 907-747-3085 to register.

 Saturday Work Party: March 8th
 
Join us this Saturday, March 8th, for a Saturday Work Party! We will meet in Allen at 9am with a delicious hot lunch served at noon for volunteers. There will be a variety of jobs to choose from for all skill levels. We hope to see you there!

With camp only 95 days away we are looking for a few items that will help make this our most successful summer yet! 

 

-Alaska Air Companion Fares

-Alaska Air Mileage Donations

-Queen Sized Mattresses and Frames

-Oven

-A 3/4 ton or 1 ton pickup truck, with a full 8-foot bed, and a standard 2- to 3-passenger cab (The truck be able to accommodate a heavy sander in the truck bed, and snowplow on the front)
