4 Days and $5,478 Left to Go!
Matching Campaign 2013:
The Final Push

Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed to our Matching Campaign this summer! Through everyone's amazing support we have raised $94,522 in four months. We have been so touched by the incredible outpouring of support, both through donations and the unbelievable volunteer effort that continues to thrive on campus. With only four days left and $5,478 left to raise we are truly in the final push of this fundraiser.

Every dollar donated this summer until October 1st will be matched by an anonymous donor up to $100,000. Your donation will go towards the completion of Allen Hall and continuing the historic restoration of our campus. So far this summer we have nearly completed the beautiful Odess Theater, put the finishing touches on the glorious Del Shirley Hospitality Room, and done substantial work on the downstairs lobby.

At the Sitka Fine Arts Camp we strive to push every dollar as far as it can go, and this Matching Campaign will be no different.

Thank you again to all who have contributed for being a part of our campus community.

After School Art Classes
by Bayla Laks, VISTA After School Coordinator

YAW After School Arts classes kicked off its first term this September with a wide range of courses taught by amazing local instructors. Every weekday when school gets out,  students arrive at the YAW Arts Center on the Sheldon Jackson Campus for Watercolors, Drawing, Ceramics, Celtic Dance, Guitar lessons, and more.

Each class is crammed from start to finish with learning, creating and fun! The focus, concentration and willingness to learn from each student is inspiring as they eagerly await each day's new lesson from teachers like Norm Campbell, Kris Fulton, Rebecca Poulson and many more. The Sitka Fine Arts Camp will be offering a second term of new and exciting classes starting in November.
