Pharmanex Recommendation
LifePak Nano

A proprietary innovation in anti-aging protection with advanced bioavailability and maximum benefits. LifePak Nano is designed to be the most scientifically advanced anti-aging supplement for adults.

How Effective Are Your Vitamins?
How do you know the supplements you are buying and taking are working? Dr. Kordonowy's office (Suite 200) now has a 90 second painless test that lets you know your overall antioxidant status. It is called the biophotonic scan and it has been validated as an accurate way to measure tissue carotenoid antioxidant levels. This overall antioxidant status correlates with optimal diet and nutrition.

Dr. Kordonowy can confidently endorse the Pharmanex line of supplements because they are guaranteed to raise your antioxidant levels as measured by the biophotonic scanner.  He personally uses LifePak Nano as he is convinced it is  the best product he has found so far. Pharmenex also has a scanner guaranteed eye formula (AREDs comparable).  It is priced nearly the same as the over the counter recommendations but is guaranteed to improve your antioxidant/tissue carotenoid score.
Soon with the latest S3 scanner version, this test will only take 30 seconds. This is a great way to find out if your current vitamin regiment is working. The cost of this test is 20 dollars and is not covered by insurance. Call the office and request a 5 minute appointment with Dr. K's staff to get scanned.  Walk-ins are also welcome but might require some wait time.  You do not need to be a patient to have this test run.  We have literature explaining the scan, its role in health from Dr. Kordonowy's perspective including a high antioxidant food list. Dr. Kordonowy feels so passionately about this tool that he now considers it part of his comprehensive physical examination. Tell your friends and family about this novel diagnostic tool. Scanners are available across the country (google/search biophotonic scanner near you).
If you wish to purchase LifePak Nano or any of the other Pharmanex supplements and receive the preferred customer pricing ( a significant 29% discount from the retail price posted), please visit this link.  You may contact Dr. Kordonowy's staff at extension 215 so we may help you order online and take advantage of preferred customer pricing (53 dollars off the retail price) and the benefits of ADR (Automatic Delivery Rate) enrollment/purchasing.
Healthy Recipe

Broiled Eggplant with Goat Cheese and Tomato

Following is an eggplant recipe my wife Margaret made recently.  Eggplant is low in calories and filling.  It is not famous for high nutrient sources but can help keep your calorie intake down. It has a meaty texture and the skin is purple so there are some antioxidants present.

  • Take One Eggplant-slice it in 1/4 inch slices
  • Set broiler on high.
  • Brush olive or peanut oil on one side (broiled, top surface) Salt and pepper lightly. Broil for 4-5 minutes.
  • Turn slices over, again brush lightly with oil, salt and pepper lightly and broil an additional 4-5 minutes.
  • Add crumbled goat cheese, chopped herb such as basil or even sundried tomatoes and place in oven another 1-2 minutes until cheese melts.

Enjoy, doctor tasted and doctor approved!

Busy season is approaching.  It is also time for your Flu shots and we do have them available now.

The practice has just upgraded our E-portal access program. If you don't use this service now you can ask your doctor's receptionist how to sign up at your next appointment.  This allows you to communicate using safe e-mails that go to your chart. This service is for non urgent service requests only.

As always I and my partners appreciate your patronage.

Recently Dr. Kordonowy commented in the News Press and their website video series regarding the roll out October one of the new health care insurance exchange. Click this link to see a segment of that interview. This is the next major phase of the Patient Protection (PP removed and now known only) as the Affordable Care Act.

Most people think their primary doctor will be at the hospital for them when they are admitted.  Under today's healthcare system/model that simply isn't true. This is why I am now offering my Inpatient Advocate Service TM   program to local primary care physicians. If you are aware of friends who you think would want their doctors to offer this service please ask them to let their doctor know this.  Have them visit to learn about this program.

Founded 1998, Internal Medicine of Southwest Florida is a primary care practice located in Fort Myers, Florida. Privately physician owned. As always I appreciate your participation with our group and the information for health that we provide.
