On Wednesday in SF take your secret lover (don't we all have one) to SECRET LOVERS: DIVAS AND QUEENS SPECIAL EDITION. On Thursday the KAINBIGAN WEEKLY POP-UP RESTAURANT is back after a two week hiatus inside the Rock Steady. Get your grub on then head next door to catch BILAL LIVE! THEN on Friday in Oakland go to CULTURE F*CK while in SF FEDORABLE is going down at El Rio. Saturday it's on!!! We gots hella cool stuph going down, during the day hit up the EAST BAY ALTERNATIVE BOOK AND ZINE FEST. My brilliant friend Ajuan Mance will be selling her zines there. She is AMAZING so make sure you stop by. Afterwards head over to 2012 HOLIDAY GIFTY and JINGLE BELLY! and get your shopping on! In the evening dance for a cause at HELLA GAY and support our LGBT youth or kick it at the JENRO RECORD RELEASE PARTY. Finally Sunday in SF start at the San Francisco's City Slam: POETS & PLAYWRIGHTS end at QUEER REBELS WINTER SHINDIG. In Oakland turn on your vibrato...errr your VIBRATE on and shake it out on the dancefloor!

Audacious IAM currently resides in Oakland CA where she is obtaining her masters of fine arts degree from mills college. She holds her sociology degree from rust college (Mississippi). Not only is she a national performance spoken word artist she also is a poet, social justice worker, educator, empowerment speaker and current play write.
Culture Fuck is a feminist, anti-racist performance space for radical outcasts, passionate queers, gender liberators, intellectual non-conformists, and everyone else who loves to break rules and subvert social propriety. Cost: Pay what you can- everything goes to the artists! No one turned away for lack of funds. Arrive by 7:30pm to meet your host and sign up for the performance list. Performances will begin at 8pm. You are welcome to perform spoken word, poetry, music, dance, comedy, theatre, and prose. Please bring your zines, books, chapbooks, art, jewelry, albums, and other merchandise to sell or distribute. Actual Cafe is keeping the kitchen open, so bring your hunger for delicious art and delicious food/beverages! Access is love: Please keep it scent-free so everybody can show up and not have to leave due to chemical injury! (leaving off perfume, cologne, essential oils and using frag-free detergent on yr clothes helps a lot.) The venue is wheelchair accessible, including bathrooms (yeah!) We make sure space is saved for wheelchair/scooter users in front.
