Imagine 100 million people awakening to greater reality on December 22, 2012, and celebrating an ever-expanding field of love, innovation, creativity and collaboration! The famed 26,000-year Mayan Calendar comes to an end on December 21st.   Unity and New Thought believe it signals the awakening of the human mind to a greater reality.

Can we awaken to a greater reality? Barbara Marx Hubbard believes we can. Barbara Marx Hubbard, noted author, futurist & social architect, is dedicated to understanding and communicating humanity's potentials for a positive future. She is a founding member of the World Future Society, the Society for the Universal Human and the co-founder of the Foundation for Conscious Evolution. Her books include The Hunger of Eve, The Evolutionary Journey and her latest book Conscious Evolution: The Great Awakening-- A Spirit-Motivated Plan of Action for the 21st Century.

At this year's Unity People's Convention, Barbara's inspirational talk invited us the, "cultural creatives", to celebrate the rebirth of a transforming world. She suggested we join together with the world in this celebration. Image millions of people in awareness of the "Oneness of Possibility". We can generate the energy for a joy-filled world co-created in love, harmony and abundance! 

I arrived in Beaumont 5 years ago today; there have been changes at all levels in our community.  I would love to see us continue moving forward in a new, more zeal-filled way for the greater good of the universe.

Unity of Southeast Texas will join Silent Unity and spiritual communities worldwide Thursday, Sept. 13, for the 19th annual Unity World Day of Prayer. The theme is The Universe Is Calling, drawn from the classic book by the late Rev. Eric Butterworth.

We will be hosting a prayer vigil on this day from 10 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., followed by a service from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to drop by and join us. There will be candles, meditative music, inspirational literature, and writing materials.
