Florida has been busy! Dwayne is back in Colorado for a short break before heading back to finish the last 2 shows in the Florida circuit. Luckily, he was able to be home to see his team win the Super Bowl!

In the past, I would have never dreamed of doing this or even considered it. Being a visual person, I have to see something before I buy it. This is especially true for me with chairs, yet I did the unthinkable: I bought a chair sight unseen. For many years now I have known that I need a new office chair. While we may make furniture, I needed a different kind of chair that would be easy to maneuver around. For months, I have been sitting in demo chairs at stores trying to find an ergonomic office chair. Being disappointed, I went online and looked at reviews. Judging the pictures on websites and then reading testimonials, I bought a chair without trying it. In fact, I bought 2, one for each office. I have always understood shoppers' concerns for buying items without first trying them. I have the same concern, and I never dreamed I would buy a chair sight unseen, but I did. I am here to tell you, it was a success! I love my new office chair. I bought it knowing that if it didn't work out I could always return it. Sometimes the best things won't be located where you can try them, but with the World Wide Web they can be. Just hoping the pillows I ordered make me as happy. One of the things I learned during my chair purchasing adventure is how important testimonials are. They can make or break the sale. Dwayne's parents are moving from Arizona to a retirement home in Colorado, otherwise known as "the resort." They have 2 Swivel Bistro Chairs and a beautiful custom Fire Pit. They won't able to take their furniture with them and we wanted to offer it first to our newsletter subscribers.
It's made with Idaho Gray stone and has powder coated frames. The chairs swivel and are standard Bistro Chairs. The Fire Pit is propane with an electronic stainless steel burner and a circular cut Colorado Flagstone top that comes apart into 3 pieces to make it easier to move. It's accented with desert animal cut outs in red flagstone. Also available to complete your patio setting is a large heavy duty umbrella.
These pieces are located in Clarkdale, Arizona outside of Sedona. If you're interested, it will involve making arrangements to pick it up at their home.
The chairs are normally $2500. each. Sale $1500. each.

Here's a picture of Riely in her Madrigal Performance. It was a lot of fun! The kids put on a Renaissance show with a 5 course meal. It's her senior year. Can you already hear a twinge of sadness in my voice? This girl will be off to Colorado State University in the Fall.
