Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on whether Dwayne should work on a horse sculpture or furniture, the furniture won! He has just completed 12 chairs, 3 accent tables and a large dining table, all of which are going to a client in Carefree, AZ. In addition, he put together 12 Wine Buddy tables, the new Party Buddy and a Deep Seating set for the Carefree Fine Art Festival. He left Sunday for the 15 hour drive to Arizona. The show runs February 28- March 2nd, he would love to see you there! Recently, we applied for a Green Award. One of the questions was: How many pounds of product have you produced? Well, this seemed like a great question! In 10 years, we have built a lot of furniture. We did a rough calculation and can confidently say that we have built OVER 70 TONS of furniture! That seems pretty good considering its just the 2 of us! We know that every piece of furniture we build will never see a landfill and that is a great feeling! We thank you for sharing in support of our vision for a better built product. In other exciting news, we have picked up more locations! As you read this, 5 pallets of furniture will be crossing over the border into Canada! Our newest location is in Ontario and we will also have a store in Pennsylvania that will have furniture by spring. We are working hard to reach more locations. Check out our retail map here.

| Extreme Furniture:
From record hot and cold temperatures to floods and droughts, 2013 was a wacky year for weather. Flooding in Colorado, drought in California, snow in the south, while the east is currently getting hammered with heavy wet snow and ice. To say that the weather is anything but normal would be an understatement. Extreme weather events are becoming a way of life. With that in mind, you need to take this wacky and weird extreme weather into consideration when purchasing your outdoor furniture.
When bad weather strikes, it's good to know you can be anywhere and not have to worry about your outdoor furniture. We witnessed firsthand the damage that the weather can produce. On our last run to the junkyard for recycled parts for the furniture, we were greeted by dozens of mud caked cars destroyed by the floods and taken to the junkyard to be disposed of. The good news for you is that we were able to pull parts from these destroyed cars, ultimately providing us with the materials we need to build our Earth-friendly furniture. We feel good that we were able to keep at least some of the destroyed car parts out of the landfills.
