Greetings!

We just got back from a one day show in California that catered to the hospitality industry. Though it's to soon to know if it was worth our time or not, Dwayne and I were able to relax at the beach for an afternoon before the show.

The winners of the Main Street Mission Grants were announced, but our business was not selected to receive a grant. 12 amazing companies were chosen who support great causes. Thank you everyone who voted, you can read about the winners here.

In other exciting news, Dwayne is loading up the trailer and heading out to Carefree, Arizona for the Carefree Fine Art Festival. He would love to see you, if you're in the neighborhood and can make it to the show. It's going to be February 28 - March 2.

We're also putting the finishing touches on our new spring catalog and Dwayne is working on a new line of furniture. Even though he was hoping to build a horse head sculpture for the Carefree Art Festival, but he only has a month.  Which one do you think he should work on: a sculpture or evolving the furniture? We would love to hear your feedback.

Breaking the Mold:

Many items in our daily lives are made using a mold, and I am not talking fungi. Everything from office equipment, dishes, shelving the computer your reading this on, and the list goes on and on. Included in this list is much of your outdoor furniture. Injection molds are used to build plastic furniture, including recycled plastic furniture. This is a process where plastic is injected into a mold to manufacture the same product over and over, thousands of items are made just the same.

Much of the outdoor furniture, whether it is made with a mold or not looks alike. In the industry we call this "cookie cutter furniture," furniture that all looks the same. Your neighbor may have a set of furniture that they bought at one store and you may have a similar set purchased at a different store made by a different manufacture.

So we have decided to build the Picasso of Patio Furniture! Instead of being a follower and trying to  keep up with what the big guys have planned for the next season, we've decided to break all the rules, and break out of the mold! Every piece we build will be different, and is going to scream unique. What fun is life if we are not individuals and expressing ourselves? Your home is an extension of you, and your furniture should reflect that. Today, do something new, break free of the old, and break out of the mold.

Party Buddy
At 42" tall, this table is similar to our Wine Buddy, but instead, its more of a Party Buddy! When fully stocked, it accommodates 3 wine bottles and 4 wine glasses. The wine bottle holder swivels and there is a fancy wine cork collection bar. Made from recycled farm implements and green marble, this table is a show stopper and party starter!
