We're so excited, it's finally here!
Our new line of beetle kill furniture is ready to debut and you are the first to see it. We partnered up with a local wood worker to make use of all the dying trees in the Colorado Rockies. The trees here have been infected by small beetles that burrow into the wood, eventually killing the tree. What makes this type of wood so special is the beautiful blue stain that is left behind in the grain of the wood from the beetles. When the wood is refined, it brings out the best in this blue stain. These awesome wood sets are made for indoor use. We have taken the engineering from our stone furniture and converted it into a wood line. Check out the video below for more information.
We have been super busy building up our inventory for the upcoming shows, which begin this weekend in Aspen! We hope you can make it out, we're going to feature some very unique pieces at the show.
As fall approaches, we have been thinking about trying a couple shows further East, possibly including Pittsburgh, Baltimore and somewhere in Florida. This is a good thing to keep in mind if you are on the way and we can provide delivery. We're always looking for good venues to exhibit at.

Summer is the perfect time to spend relaxing and chilling around the fire. Fire pits are popular and Summer time is a great time to enjoy them. It can be challenging, however, to decide what type of furniture would be practical and safe around the fire pit. The good news is Stone 2 Furniture has the answer. Stone fire pit chairs and tables are the beautiful, and durable answer to comfortable seating that will last for years and stand up to the wear and tear around the fire pit.
Fire pits can be fun, yet potentially dangerous. Something you don't want is flammable furniture anywhere near the fire pit. Stone Furniture is fire resistant and will stand up to the smoke and heat that can damage other furniture.
Cooking around the fire pit can be fun and tasty, but also messy when roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. No worries for the Stone Furniture as spills will wipe right up, and burns that might happen from hot pots and scorching marshmallow sticks will leave no mark. It's also adult safe when having cocktails and socializing.
Smoke and suet can ruin fire pit furniture. Stone Furniture will not pick up any odors from the smoke and a quick spray with the hose will keep your furniture clean and beautiful. No need for expensive cleaners or even elbow grease.
Perhaps the biggest advantage in having Stone Furniture is the 'set it and forget it' feature. You don't have to worry that the windy days of Summer will blow your furniture away, or that you will have to store your furniture for the Fall and Winter. Once you place your Stone Furniture it is there to stay for years of enjoyment and pleasure. There is no need to store it during the off season as Stone Furniture will add beauty to your outdoor space at any given moment, extending the time you can enjoy your fire pit.
Stone Furniture is the answer to your fire pit needs when it comes to long lasting, durable and beautiful furniture. It will continually add to the beauty of any fire pit setting and give you years of comfort and joy.

Since we water tumble all of our stone, it is not very often we come across pieces this long. Usually the stones break in the tumbler reducing them to smaller sizes. So when we found these two long ones, we knew we had to make a special set. This extra tall set we like to call the His and Her Thrones!

These indoor chairs swivel, have a rubber ring to protect flooring and are amazingly comfortable! These top quality, handcrafted piece are even more stunning in person. The way the wood is cut shows the age rings and history of the wood. It's like a piece of history preserved.

Where in the World is Stone 2 Furniture? |
|
Evergreen, Colorado
Our clients opted out on a vacation for their 20 year anniversary and instead got stone furniture. We hope to see them still enjoying it on their 40th anniversary! They also got in our Gift Giveaway during the month of June and we surprised them with a Wine Buddy. Even their kitty liked the furniture! |

The New Studio:
Here is my new paint studio. Dwayne built this so the girls in the family have somewhere to go create. His shop is very dirty from welding, so we now have a clean area for us.
Below is an example of one of my mixed media pieces. It combines photography, words, texture and a variety of techniques to create unique wall-hangings.

Dwayne's Artist Statement:
My rock chairs have been compared to something found on the set of the Flintstones, but great care is given to ensure they are both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The stone added to discarded steel results in functional furniture inspired by Mother Nature. They are not only weatherproof, but integrate easily into landscapes and cityscapes without intruding on the surrounding beauty. |
Well, we made it to the Grand Canyon and we have the picture to prove it! We also delivered 7 sets of furniture to the Goldenstein Gallery in Sedona. It was a fun trip and we had a great time visiting the folks! Hope you are having a fabulous summer! Please let us know if we can build you dream furniture for your surroundings! All the best,
Dwayne & Jill - the stone furniture experts.
