ICE IS OUT ON SADDLEBACK LAKE
The surface of Saddleback Lake has returned to blue, and reports are coming in about ice-out in several other local ponds. However, the big lakes are still holding on to their winter covering. The latest recorded Ice-out date for Rangeley was May 24 in 1882. The earliest is April 14, in both 1921 and 1945. Both the Rangeley Highlander and Bald Mountain Camps have contests to pick the date/time.

COMPLIMENTARY MOOSE TOURS
BEGIN JULY 7
Mother Moose and Twins
Saddleback will be readying the "Pickle Bus" for its regular excursions down moose-alley, aka Route 16 to Stratton, every Monday and Thursday evening from July 7 through August 28.  Moose Tours leave from our Saddleback Guest Service Center at 2501 Main St. at approximately 6:45 PM. The time will change throughout the summer as the time of sunset changes.
