The report from Jimmy in the pumphouse is that they are testing the system, pressurizing hoses, checking the weather and will be snowmaking "VERY SOON." Saddleback will be testing two new snowguns from HKD and SMI, gaining critical information for equipment decisions in the next phase of snowmaking upgrades.

The Saddleback Savings Card is a great way to save money if you don't ski or ride often enough for a season pass. It also makes a wonderful Holiday Gift. The card is valid for 7 all day lift tickets anytime during the 2013-2014 ski season.* There are no blackout dates. Any member of the purchasing household can use the card to redeem for tickets for a family member or friend. All members need to be registered in order to use the card. The card will be on sale as long as the limited supply lasts.

Ian states there was lots of excitement at the Boston Ski Show: the busiest in recent memory. He spoke with many people that had skied Saddleback for the first time last year and the overwhelming response from them was: "awesome!" Nearly every seat was filled at the TGR Movie Premiers of "Way Of Life" in Portland, Portsmouth and Boston, where he handed out special mid-week passes to Saddleback. The Rental Shop is filled with boxes of demos: K-2, Salomon, Rossignol, Dynastar, Volkl, Lucid, and a new line: Blizzard.  He and Shawn are busy revamping both retail and rental shops in preparation for a great season.
