MT WASHINGTON!
It's been a beautiful summer for hiking, and thanks to the High Peaks Alliance there's a new hiking loop starting at the base lodge that combines hiking SE to the summit of Saddleback Mountain along the Wheeler, Gray Ghost and Tricolor trails, then SW along the AT, NW along ITS 84/89, and then NE back to the base lodge along the Fly Rod Crosby Trail. It's a challenging 6.1 mile hike; plan 5-6 hours to complete.
