Where Families Feel at Home
Saddleback is the 2012 OnTheSnow Visitors' Choice Award winner for Best Family Resort in the Northeast. Alpine Skiing is a great recreational activity for the whole family. The family that skis and rides together, stays together. And Saddleback is the ideal place for families to enjoy winter in a secure, low-key environment. What do we have for kids and families? In a word, everything --licensed child care, learn-to programs, advanced instruction, racing, season-long programs and fun events.
- Saddleback provides a secure environment because our terrain is naturally segmented by degree of difficulty.
- Like-ability level skiers ski together, with no mixing of abilities.
- More trails per lift capacity mean less people on each trail, providing a more comfortable experience.
- Ski-in/ski-out trailside condominiums allow family members to come and go on their own schedule.
- Unique post & beam base with huge fieldstone fireplace, all services and caring staff provide a relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere.
- Saddleback is a great place for families to learn or improve.
-
Extraordinary beginner terrain - 4 miles of it - separated from the rest of the mountain. -
Best student to instructor ratios in North America. -
One-on-one instruction for all 3-6 year old skiers and snowboarders until they can go on their own. -
Maximum class size of 5 for all abilities and ages. -
Even smaller group size for skiers and riders 6 & under. -
Student-centered philosophy
