Saddleback Family Fun Day
Saturday, Jan, 19th
Join us for this year's Safety Focused Family Fun Day on Saturday, January 19th. There will be a scavenger hunt, a Know the Code challenge, a Safety Poster Contest and the always popular guess-how-much-candy-is-in-the-jar and win it all. Recite the Skier's Safety Code and get a reward. Safety Central will be set up in the lobby of the Base Lodge from 9am-3pm.
Friday Night Lights
The first Friday Night Lights Rail Jam will take place from 4-8 pm on
January 18th in front of the Base Lodge. Lights, music, fun. It is free: no lift ticket required. Show your stuff.

Swig N Smelt Pub. Admittance is free.

Local Artist Pamela Ellis
joins Saddleback Marketing Team
Local fine artist Pamela Ellis has joined our marketing department. She brings her considerable graphics skills and trained artist's "eye" to design on all levels: from daily posters to digital billboards. "The range of creative work here is exciting," says Ellis.
Her children are graduates of the Meisters Program and her father, Paul Ellis, was one of the original founders of Saddleback. Ellis paints tightly detailed watercolors of the beauty of the Rangeley Lakes Region in all seasons. Click here to view her work.

January: Learn to Ski
and Snowboard Month
The National Ski Area Association has named January Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month. Take advantage of our money saving Learn To programs at Saddleback with the best and most extensive beginner terrain on the East Coast. Nearly four miles of gentle beginner terrain.
Everybody offers learn to ski and snowboard packages but only Saddleback has 4 miles of gentle terrain, state of the art rental equipment and a devoted staff who love to introduce people to these exciting sports.
