Spring is coming & art is in the air at Alternative!

Now that our winter project, "Sweaters For Seniors" is complete, we wondered "what's next?" Our aha moment came when we saw, "I Remember Better When I Paint."
The documentary, narrated by Olivia de Havilland, explains the benefits of art for seniors including helping with memory.

This inspired us to offer a rotating art class to our senior retirement communities, centers and memory care partners. Our resident Community Relations Associate (okay it's me) also happens to be an after school art teacher.

So without further ado, I'm scheduling classes on a first come, first serve basis. (Up to one per week. (I'm already booked through March!) Hint. I've been to Ashton Hall and everyone had a blast. Plus painted some pretty sweet watercolors! Shown above. So contact me and let's see if we can make some beautiful art and memories together!
