The PodiLove is a bike basket that is specifically made for animals. A short strap secures the internal Pod rider to the carrier.

The top of the Pod can be open or zippered closed. A mesh fabric allows air to flow through the carrier when closed.

The carrier can be detached from the bike, and turned into a comfortable shoulder bag that is gentle on the hip that it rests on.

For safety sake, practice riding the bike with the carrier on the handle bars with added weight before trying it with a precious animal in side. The added handle bar weight requires more upper body control when steering the bike.

A dog shifting in the carrier can be an unexpected surprise during the first ride.

The carrier can also be attached to a Petego stroller for going on a walk together.

Bladder Stones

When we have a recurring urinary issue of accidents in the house, straining to urinate, blood in the urine, or leaking urine, we look for bladder stones as a possible underlying cause.

Some larger stones can be palpated through the abdomen, most stones require radiographs or ultrasound to find them. Stones can be single or multiple with of varying composition. Occasionally there are crystals in the urine that identify the larger stone internally.

At times, surgery is the only treatment and diagnosis of what stones are present in the badder. Bacterial infections or diet can be an underlying cause for some stone formation. If a stone obstructs the flow of urine, emergency treatment is necessary.

For patients that are not surgical candidates, a trial of Crystal Stone Formula may halt the progression or reduce size of the stones.

From the "Eastern" perspective, internal heat causes stone formation. The cause of the heat needs to be address during treatment.

Now that it is getting warming,
it can be time to take the cat
for a walk on a leash.

Mostly the walks are sniff and roll time, but it is enjoyable to be out in the fresh air.
