Fun Time with Dog Training.

A class for learning dog tricks and free style can be found at K9 OTC. The class is taught on Sundays, noon to 1:00 by Debbie Lynch and Mary Hoelzl.  The class is on going so that one can start at any time and fit right in to the class.

Freestyle is a fun activity with low impact exercise for the dogs. The mental stimulation also helps keep them acting young.

Both trainers have won admiration and awards for their talents.  Debbie with Tinkerbell won first place at Bastille Days last year.

Tinkerbell won over the crowd with tricks such as fetching a hot dog and carrying a flag.

Kale can be tasty

 Kale
is known for being a nutritious food with few calories.
Even bunnies like it.

An easy way to add kale to moist food or home made diets is to put it into a blender such as a "magic bullet."

A few leaves are placed in a blender with a touch of water. in 10 -20 seconds it is at  a smoothie consistency.

To make kale chips:

1. Preheat your over to 350 degrees F.  Line a non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

2. With a knife carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and cut the leaves into bite-sized pieces.

3. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt.

4. Bake 10 to 15 minutes until the edges brown.
