We're getting ready for the third awesome year of the Westside Community Garden! And with the new year comes some changes...

Like new applications.  We are asking everyone, even if you've had a plot for the last two years, to reapply for a plot in 2016 and each year thereafter. So come by the church office at 1771 W. Harvard Ave for the application packet, pick one up at the Saturday Farmers Market, or contact me.  Plots will be assigned to those who complete the application forms.

Another new thing: The 2016 garden season begins with a Spring Garden Workshop on Saturday, April 2nd from noon to 2 P.M. Anyone and everyone planning on having a plot in the Westside Community Garden this year should plan to be there. Master gardeners will be present and the topics we'll cover are listed on the left.

We would love for all of the gardeners to join us so we can get to know each other.  We will also host some of the new Kitchen Garden Project folks.  Please feel free to stop by the market beforehand.

See you there.

P.S.  I am hoping to find snacks, but if anyone else wants to bring things to share...I'll also bring seeds and try to get some starts to share.
