The Express
Roseburg First United Methodist Church
The week of February 7
Engage God... Engage One Another... Engage Life!

Hopefully by now you've received the 2016 LentenQuest packet in the mail and have taken some time to consider the many discipleship options being offered and have noted your commitments on the commitment form.  LentenQuest commitment forms will be collected at both worship services in an act of consecration.  If you haven't done so already, please find a few moments to review the materials, reflect on your options, mark your commitments on the form to bring it with you to worship. The Ash Wednesday observance will be at 7pm this Wednesday evening at the Presbyterian Church downtown.  I encourage to join with brothers and sisters in Christ from other churches for this first service of Lent.  Lenten classes, worship services, and other opportunities will be highlighted as we journey through this season toward Easter.

This issue of the Express provides an update for the next week's happenings around Roseburg's First United Methodist Church.  If this weekly newsletter comes as a surprise to you, it's probably because we've added you to the mailing list!  If you don't want to receive the Weekly Express every Thursday, simply scroll to the bottom of the page to use the SafeUnsubscribe option.  Uncheck the Weekly Express and you'll no longer receive it.

The hope, of course, is that you'll stay with us and up to date on all the great things going on in and through this church!

Hope you'll join us in worship on Sunday -

Pastor Scott Harkness
