It's Not Too Late! Register for June 26-27 PFIA Workshop for Small Cities
Did you know that investment officers, chief financial officers (if the treasurer is not the CFO), and treasurers are required by the Public Funds Investment Act (PFIA) to receive 10 hours of training within 12 months of taking office, and to renew every two years with 10 hours of instruction?
Make sure that you and your city are in compliance. TML's PFIA training meets the state requirements, and is designed for both elected and appointed city officials. Upon completion of the course, attendance is reported to the State Comptroller's Office to assure that participating investment officers and cities are in compliance with the law.
Here are the upcoming trainings you can attend:
- Austin; June 26 - 27 (small cities)
- Dallas; July 31 - August 1
- San Antonio; December 11 - 12
