White House Call with President Obama on the Affordable Care Act The National League of Cities encourages local leaders to join a call with President Barack Obama on Monday, February 24, to discuss how state and local governments, businesses, and non-profit organizations can work to ensure that all Americans have access to quality, affordable health care in their communities. Share Your City's Success Story: Submit a Municipal Excellence Award Application TML's Excellence Awards celebrate a job well done by your staff and community, and inspire municipal excellence and innovation. The awards competition is divided into two population categories-cities less than 25,000 in population and cities over 25,000 in population. Within each of the two population categories, there are five subject categories-management innovations, communication programs, city spirit, public safety, and public works.
