Mesquida Mora SINCRONIA

Rated 90 points
Stephen Tanzer's
International Wine Cellar:

"(a blend of callet, montenegro, syrah and merlot; aged in older French and American oak): Vivid ruby. Smoky dark berry and mineral aromas are brightened by a note of white pepper. Round and seamless on the palate, offering sweet blackberry and cherry flavors with a touch of black cardamom. Dusty minerals give grip to the persistent finish, which features fine-grained tannins and a hint of candied violet."

Mesquida Mora is one of Mallorca's up and coming wineries, focusing on organic--as well as biodynamic--viticulture and primarily indigenous grape varieties.
With its juicy plum and dark cherry flavors on the palate, the wine is generous and full-bodied, yet still fresh and very easy to drink.

This wine is an interesting blend of Callet, Mantonegro, Syrah and Merlot, aged four months in third use French and American oak barrels.

Drink different - give this a try on Friday night.

Flor de Verano Albariņo Rias Baixas

Carlos Castro Serrantes and his daughter team up to produce this really lovely expression of Albariņo in the village of Freixo.

They own 7 hecatres of vines, all trained up high in pergola as is the tradition in this area.

All citric and stonefruit, with bracing acidity that make this a perfect aperitivo or accompaniment to fresh crab, oysters, or any shellfish you want to throw its way!

This may be one of your favorite summer wines in waiting. Please try it this Friday night.

Mercat Brut Nature Cava

"A delicate bead in the glass of soft golden color. The nose bursts with rich pear, green apple and hints of cream.

On the palate the wine shows great finesse and balance with notes of papaya and pear rounded out with hints of

hazelnuts, finishing with crisp acidity and freshness."

RATED 91 POINTS - The Wine Advocate
"A wonderful peachy bouquet that blossoms in the glass with hints of dried apricot and honeysuckle. The palate is very well-balanced with crisp acidity and a fine thread of bitter lemon that lends tension and poise, leading to a very champagnois finish. Excellent!"

This is a delight - it typifies the warm weather ahead. Enjoy it on Friday night.
