A GREAT EASTER WINE
Bieler Pere et Fils Provence, France
Continuing the reputation for great-value wine that he built with his family over 13 years at Chateau Routas and the last three years with Three Thieves, Charles Bieler has been creating this delicious Provençal rosé for the last 5 years: Bieler Père et Fils Rosé. Bieler Père et Fils is an homage to Charles's father, Philippe, who ushered he and his sister Mira into the wine business in the mid-1990s. This particular bottling was named after Charles's daughter, Sabine, who was born in 2005, the year of the wine's inaugural vintage.
Light, fresh, dry - especially good with food. Please try it on Friday night.

Napa scion Joel Gott was born to make wine. His grandfather was winemaker and president of Inglenook in the 1960s and 1970s while his father, Cary Gott, is the founder of Montevina and continues to consult for wineries such as D.R. Stephens. In addition to Joel's uncanny blending ability, he has privileged access to many of the best and as yet undiscovered fruit sources in the Napa Valley. Joel Gott wines are therefore remarkable values, offering gobs of classic California fruit, good structure and excellent balance. The 2012 California Pinot Noir has aromatics of dried cherries, boysenberries and strawberries with hints of vanilla and white pepper. Dense and rich on the front of the palate with well-balanced acidity on the mid-palate, and a very nice long finish. There is no question that JOEL GOTT is one of the hottest California labels in our store right now. Please try it this Friday night.

Small selections of grapes are meticulously chosen from specifically identified lots, which are fermented separately and then blended to create the exquisite balance of juiciness, freshness, and minerality displayed in this specialty bottling.
A brilliant, tangy nose heralds a burst of stone fruit and citrus zest on the palate. Fruit and minerality play into a lingering finish that continues to make the mouth water long after the wine is gone. Just take a sip - that's all I am saying.

John Andorfer - Head Brewer, Chief Science Officer. WIth a PhD in biochemistry and two post-Docs, John might be one of the most scholarly brewers! John is a skilled brewer and while he loves brewing at Cottrell, he hopes to one day expand his growing farm into full time livelihood.
Drew Rodgers - Brewer, Raised in Noank, Drew studied philosophy at Vassar College. An accomplished brewer, Drew is in charge of crafting new beer recipes and developing new products.
