Mr. Bob Nevile from World Wines Wines will be with us on Friday night. Please join us.
In a world of cookie-cutter products, protea is on a mission to make wines that dare to be exotic and beautiful, in every way imaginable.
The brand has broken new ground by offering uniquely delicious wines in designer bottles that are perfect for both sharing and "upcycling."
These stunning, eco-friendly bottles utilize an innovative silk screen application that is both green and durable, which is perfect for re-purposing.
WHITE:To make the Protea Chenin Blanc, our winemakers step smartly aside and allow the essence of the remarkable, too often under appreciated Chenin Blanc grape to arrive in the glass with rich fruit and verve.
The Protea Chenin Blanc is pale lemon in appearance. It shows aromas of fresh, crisp fruit. On the palate, you'll find hints of pear, citrus and honeysuckle. The wine was created in a lighter, more accessible style for earlier enjoyment.
RED: The Protea winemaking team blends the traditional Bordeaux varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, to create a serious yet approachable wine.
A beautiful deep ruby, the Protea Red immediately shows aromatic notes of blackberry, espresso and spice. On the palate the wine is full and juicy. Balancing ripe fruit and subtle tannins, the blend is a versatile choice for food pairings.

Friday Night Whiskey
Michter's US1 American Whiskey
"Unlike Bourbon or Rye, which, by definition, must be aged in new oak barrels, our US1 Unblended American Whiskey is aged in a way that utilizes bourbon-soaked barrels to achieve a rich and unique flavor profile.
In late 2013, Master Distiller Willie Pratt agreed to re-release our US1 Unblended American Whiskey after a nearly three-year absence from the market, deeming it "just right" and "the best it's ever been."
Crucially, our US1 Unblended American Whiskey never contains grain neutral spirits - hence its "unblended" distinction." This stuff is killer - rich, silky, just the thing after a long week. Please try it this Friday.

NEW ARRIVALS
The 6th release from Glenmorangie's award-winning Private Edition, Tùsail is the product of a carefully-selected parcel of Maris Otter barley, floor-malted by hand using traditional techniques, and non chill-filtered.
A rich winter variety of barley first introduced in 1965, Maris Otter was bred specifically to meet the demand for a high quality brewing malt and recognized for its ability to impart rich, rustic malty flavors.
Now used only by a select few who continue, like Glenmorangie, to uphold an ethos of sacrificing yield for quality by using only the finest ingredients, the result is a whiskey celebrating the variety's renowned taste profile.
Comes with two engraved Gelmorangie Glasses - a beautiful gift for the whiskey lover in your life.

YELLOW SPOT
Inspired by the original Yellow Spot and last bottled in the 1950s, Yellow Spot is the rare taste of a bonder's style Single Pot Still Irish whiskey.
Rather than being simply a finished whiskey, Yellow Spot is special in that it contains single pot still whiskey that has been matured for a full 12 year period in three oak cask types: American bourbon barrels, Spanish sherry butts and uniquely, Spanish Malaga casks.
